UGANDA VISA UPDATE FOR SOUTH AFRICANS
 

This information should be used as a guide only. Please confirm requirements with the consulate or embassy.


Visas are required by SA passport holders and are to be obtained PRIOR to arrival in Uganda.

It is often advisable to check the current situation in Uganda with the local authorities.

All foreigners travelling to Uganda will be required to obtain visas from Diplomatic and Consular Missions abroad prior to their travel.


Please note that visas cannot be obtained at the airport.

Nationals not requiring visas are East Africans, nationals from COMESA countries or nationals from countries which do not have visa requirements for Ugandan nationals.
